Encounter with natural wine
Depending on what you’ve tasted before, the flavours of natural wine can be either intimidating and disconcerting or, thrilling and addicting. The main reason for loving these wines is the taste! With their world of cheerful tastings and informal atmospheres, they brought fun back to the wine scene. They are wines to drink at 3 am, when a “serious” bottle of Cabernet would be definitely out of place. Don’t be fooled, however: if it all boiled down to a party atmosphere, the movement would have been short-lived. In addition to proletarian flavours (flavours that could attract, so to speak, even the beer drinker) there are others that are noteworthy, to earn a true place of honour in the cellar. These wines have the ability to express the importance of the place of their origin.
There is an immediacy that distinguishes them, due to the absence of chemicals that comes between the drinker and that wine. Furthermore, you experience a product that has a human being behind it and not a machine or marketing department.
There is one more reason to approach natural wine, it seems quite intuitive that a wine free of pesticides, herbicides and chemical additives is more conducive to a good state of health.
